The 2024 Porsche Cayenne gets some major upgrades from previous years. Nearly every part of this luxury SUV has been updated, from a new exterior design to the return of the V-8 engine in the Cayenne S. This model year also offers a new control layout in the cockpit with completely digitized instrument features. The Porsche Cayenne also gets a chassis upgrade with an all-new, two-valve suspension system.
The 2024 Cayenne features five different trims across the gas and hybrid variations: the Base, S, E-Hybrid, S E-Hybrid, and Turbo E-Hybrid. The price can range depending on the trim and choice of added equipment, with the base MSRP listed at $79,200.
Car enthusiasts will no doubt be excited for the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine in the Cayenne S. This powerhouse generates 468 horsepower and a maximum 442 lb-ft of torque. The base Cayenne keeps the 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6, and the E-Hybrid models combine the 3.0-liter V-6 with a new electric motor for a total power output of 463 horsepower.
An eight-speed automatic transmission pairs with all engines, and the Cayenne comes with an all-wheel-drive system. It also features adaptive air suspension and the Porsche Active Suspension Management system, as well as adaptive steering to ensure drivers stay in control on any terrain. Other standards include 20-inch wheels and only the best tires for the Cayenne to maximize driving performance.
The Porsche Cayenne comes with more standard features than previous years, which means additional comfort and convenience for drivers sticking to the base variation. A new digital instrument panel, a 12.65-inch curved display, and wireless connectivity make up some of the standard technology, but there’s an optional 10.9-inch touch-screen passenger display too. All trims also include a 10-speaker sound system, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and power-adjustable heated front seats.
