Battery options include a standard 82.3 kWh pack and an optional 97 kWh Performance Battery Plus. Improvements in energy management and thermal performance result in greater efficiency. Official EPA ranges are expected to increase up to 35% compared to previous years, with some models projected to exceed 300 miles on a full charge.
Charging speed is even faster, thanks to an 800-volt architecture. Under optimal conditions, the Taycan can now charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes with a DC fast charger. Level 2 home charging remains available for overnight replenishment.
The Taycan delivers instant torque and exceptional handling with its dual-motor setup and sophisticated suspension. Performance varies by trim, with horsepower figures ranging from approximately 402 hp in the base Taycan (with overboost) up to 938 hp in the Taycan Turbo S with the new Performance Battery Plus and Launch Control.
All Taycan models include Porsche’s advanced safety and driver-assistance systems as standard. This includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims offer available features like InnoDrive, night vision assist, and a head-up display for added confidence on the road.
The 2025 Taycan interior features a clean, driver-focused layout with new trim accents, advanced tech, and digital-first controls. Standard features include eight-way power-adjustable seats, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
