The fully-electric Taycan features PDLS headlamps with LED lighting and reaches a top track speed of 143 mph. Using the electric motor housed in the rear of the vehicle, the Taycan goes from 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds. Because there is no engine in the front, you have a storage unit and mobile charger under the hood of the car.
The Taycan in the video features 20-inch wheels, though 21-inch wheels are available, as well. As far as charging, there are charging ports on both the passenger side and driver side. While Level 3 charging is exclusive for the passenger side slot, Level 1 and Level 2 charging is accessible from either side.
Inside the 2021 Porsche Taycan
The featured Taycan boasts an upgraded full-leather interior in Black Chalk. The backseat allows available “two plus three” seating to add a headrest between the two standard seats. Above, you can find a panoramic moonroof with full UV protection.
In the driver’s seat, you can find your current charge and mileage displayed in front of the cupholders. The Taycan also features safety technologies like Lane-Keeping Assist to help you out on the road.
The Taycan allows you to set a timer for your charge, with 85% being Porsche’s recommended setting. You can increase your timer to 100% for an increase in mileage and maximizing your charge, though a lower percentage prolongs the longevity of the Taycan.
