The ambitious electrification strategy continues with the all-electric Porsche Cayenne, which is scheduled to follow the all-electric Porsche Macan that is scheduled to release in 2024. The fourth generation of the Porsche SUV is set to underline Porsche’s goal of delivering more than 80 percent of its new vehicles as all-electric models in 2030.

Porsche is also planning to expand its product portfolio with an all-electric SUV positioned above the Cayenne, with the vehicle concept designed to offer strong performance, automated driving functions with the typical Porsche flyline, and a completely new experience inside the vehicle.

Setting the Tone With the 2023 Porsche Cayenne

The winds of change are blowing and that starts with the 2023 Porsche Cayenne. Set to undergo one of the most comprehensive upgrades in the history of Porsche, the third-generation model includes three further-developed plug-in hybrids with greater ranges.

Thanks to a new chassis, there is also an even wider breadth of abilities, balancing the on-road performance for which Porsche is famous, long-distance comfort and off-road capability.

Porsche is working towards a net carbon neutral value chain for its vehicles in 2030, including a net carbon-neutral use phase for future BEV models (based on an assumed total mileage of 200,000 kilometers per vehicle).
