How Do I Set Up Apple CarPlay® In My Porsche?

With seamless navigation, music streaming, and communication accessibility, Apple CarPlay® helps you focus on the road while leveraging your smartphone’s many functions.

To set Apple CarPlay®  in your Porsche:

  1. Connect your iPhone to the PCM via the USB port in the smartphone tray.
  2. Select Porsche models come equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay®, which you can connect to through Bluetooth.
  3. Confirm you want to use Apple CarPlay® through the in-vehicle touchscreen.

Voila – your center screen should display your iPhone apps.

Using Apple CarPlay® is much like using your iPhone. To access an application, touch its respective icon.

You can also activate voice commands through Siri by either pressing the button on the upper left control lever of your steering wheel or touching and holding the home icon on your Apple CarPlay® screen.
